Fundraisers: Annual Fundraiser @ Lake Byron / Weekly Crown the King Drawing

The funds raised go to directly support those in the Huron Community and surrounding communities suffering from MS.  Additionally some funds go to the Upper Midwest Chapter of the National MS Society to be dedicated to research for a cure. 

The Huron MS Society started the Huron Area Support Group in 2019, as an opportunity to provide resources and comfort to local patients and their caregivers, friends, and family, as well.

Huron and the surrounding communities have raised over $200,000 over the last 7 years through the efforts of the Huron MS Society. Recognized as the “Top Do-It-Yourself Fundraiser” in South Dakota, the National MS Society’s Upper Midwest Chapter awarded the Huron MS Society a Sylvie award for the fourth year in a row.
